Named GP and Practice Registration

Currently the practice list is open, which means that as long as you live within the Practice Area (see map below), you can register with us. Please inform the receptionist of your wish to register, bring two forms of ID (one photographic and one proof of address) to the front reception desk, and you will be invited to have an initial check with a health care assistant. This enables us to record some basic information about you as it may be several weeks before your medical records are forwarded to us. It also gives you the opportunity to raise any concerns you may have about your health.

Named GP

All our patients will be registered with a named, accountable GP, but our contract with you will remain 'practice based'. Your named GP is largely a role of oversight, to reassure you that you have one GP within the practice to ensure that all work is carried out on your behalf. You do NOT have to see your named GP when you book an appointment with the Practice- you are entitled to see any GP or nurse in the Practice.
