As you will all be aware we are facing a constantly changing situation with regards to the Covid 19 Pandemic. We understand how anxious you all are at the moment and will continue to do our best for you in these uncertain times.
As of today, the guidance is that if you have a new continuous cough (within the past 7 days) or a fever (temp above 37.8) or loss of taste or smell you should self-isolate at home and only contact NHS 111 (preferably through the website), if you are really concerned. This might be because of shortness of breath or worsening symptoms.
We are trying to reduce all face to face appointments to a minimum.
If you have a booked appointment, or have requested a home visit which might be suitable for a phone appointment, please let us know and we will ring you instead.
As you might expect all our staff are working hard to implement these changes at short notice and we may have staff shortages due to self-isolation. Please be patient with us as we are having to adapt our plans every day. This is why it might take longer to get your routine prescriptions ready.
We will of course keep you up to date with what is happening day by day. Please keep checking back to this page or to our website.

From Wednesday 1st July 2020, we are making changes to the way you can order your repeat prescriptions.
What are repeat prescriptions?
Repeat prescriptions are those medicines you receive on a regular basis, usually for a long-term condition, without having to go and see your GP every time you need them.
Some people order these repeat prescriptions themselves and others choose a pharmacy or dispensing company to order on their behalf.
What is changing?
From 1st July 2020, you (or a person you’ve nominated) will have to order your repeat prescriptions directly from Snaith & Rawcliffe Medical Group. You will no longer be able to order repeat prescriptions through your pharmacy, an online pharmacy or other dispensing contractor.
What is not changing?
If you already order your repeat prescriptions from Snaith & Rawcliffe Medical Group then you’re not affected and don’t need to do anything.
If you receive your medication through a monitored dosage system, for example a dosette box or a blister pack, this change will not affect you.
What do you need to do?
From 1st July 2020 if you currently order your repeat prescriptions from a pharmacy, you will have to order from Snaith and Rawcliffe Medical Group instead. You can do this:
Online – all you have to do is register with us and use ‘Patient Access’ – https://www.patientaccess.com/. To use Patient Access you will need a Practice ID number and Access ID number which can be obtained from the practice, and, in conjunction with a password, will be unique to you. Please contact us if you wish to set this up.
In person here at the practice – Simply tick the medicines you need on the white, tear-off section of your prescription and post it into the red box at the front of the practice building.
